Spend 80% Online and 20% Onsite

Our OTA program features a unique blend of online and onsite curriculum, providing the knowledge and skills required to earn OTA certification and pursue a career in this rewarding profession.

Our program includes:

  • Online OTA and LAS classes let you learn around your schedule.
  • 12 skills labs let you apply your knowledge in the six core OT practice areas.
  • 720 hours of supervised fieldwork provide diverse professional experiences.

You don’t have to live in Texas to complete your education. However, you are required to travel to the same site in Texas to complete all 12 labs in person. For fieldwork, we strive to accommodate your needs as best as possible.

Make a Difference Every Day

As an OTA, you have the option to work with individuals of all ages and conditions—helping them perform their daily routines as independently as possible.

For example, OTAs help:

  • Children overcome developmental delays.
  • Amputees cope with limb loss via prosthetic rehabilitation.
  • Wheel-chair bound individuals navigate buildings on their own.
  • Individuals with Down Syndrome learn self-care activities.
  • Senior citizens with dementia cope with memory loss.

“If you really love people and helping others, then an OTA career is the right choice.”
